CPI Group is building a shopping park in Pelhřimov

In mid-July, the CPI investment group constructed another shopping park. This is already the 24th complex from CPI Group, and they are still growing with six business units in Pelhřimov slated for opening on 31 October 2013. The Pelhřimov retail park is situated in the northwestern part of the existing shopping area with major chains like Kaufland, Lidl and Penny Market. All six business units are already rented out, and visitors will be able to choose from a wide range of shops by the end of October. These include Sportisimo, Euronics electronics, DM Drugstore, Dráčik toy store, Orion shop and CCC Shoes. The shopping park has a total area of 2,512 m², it's own private parking for eighty cars, and provides jobs to around thirty employees. Along with the construction in Pelhřimov, CPI Group has started preparations for a project in Čáslav, which foresees realisation in 2014. CPI Group is currently one of the largest owners of retail space in the Czech Republic, and retail parks are one of the most stable components in their portfolio. "We maintain almost 100% occupancy in the long-term, which is due to the fact that a majority of space is already leased when actual construction of the project is initialized“, said Pavel Jirasek, Retail Warehouse Asset Portfolio Manager for CPI Group. The investment group has worked an extended period of time with companies such as Tesco, Ahold, Interspar, OBI and Hornbach. They have long-term cooperation with a number of tenants, and contacts are also being established with new brands.
