Almost three months after the opening of its doors to the public, the IGY shopping centre hosted its opening ceremony in České Budějovice. The purpose of the evening was to thank everyone involved in the implementation of the project, but also to contribute to a worthy cause. "We have successfully completed another large project in České Budějovice and I am overjoyed that on this occasion we can give back to the city," said Zdeněk Havelka, Executive Director of CPI Property Group, when he handed over a cheque of CZK 100,000 to MUDr. Václav Janovský, Head of the Oncology Department of České Budějovice Hospital.
The gala dinner offered great music, excellent cuisine and well-known personalities. The symbolic opening of the key ceremony was undertaken by Zdeněk Havelka together with České Budějovice natives – violinist Pavel Šporcl and presenter Jitka Nováčkova. Rey Koranteng alongside Ms Nováčkova hosted the whole evening. The concert performance was attended by the talented singer Lenny, the highlight of the evening was the appearance of all the performers at the grand finale of the singer's big hit, "Hello". The celebration of the gala evening was enjoyed by cultural, business and social representatives.
