Shopping Centre Quadrio at Prague's Národní třída is a 2016-2018 official supporter of the Czech Olympic Team. Quadrio will be establishing facilities for the Olympic athletes, the Fan Zone for supporters and a Czech Team merchandise shop. The agreement was favourably signed by Jiří Kejval, Chairman of the Czech Olympic Committee and Pavel Semrád, CPI Property Group Director of Asset Management for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The first event will take place on 26 May 2016, featuring an exclusive fashion show exhibiting the official Czech Olympic uniform collection for Rio 2016.
"Becoming an official supporter for Czech Olympic Team was the obvious choice considering the values of Olympism, such as fair play, perseverance and a desire to constantly improve oneself. These essential Olympic ideals are deeply associated with CPI Property Group and reflected in its business approach. The Olympic athletes and their support team will have the very best in comfort and service that we can provide. They will have the opportunity to browse, select and try on clothing from the Olympic Czech Team store while being able to enjoy the convenience of the relaxation zones," said Pavel Semrád.
"The purpose of this cooperation is to provide long-term support of our actions and the mediation opportunities for the public to meet face-to-face with the athletes. We try to make the Czech Olympic Team as available as possible to fans," said Jiří Kejval, Chairman of the Czech Olympic Committee. The unique Czech Team Fan Zone on the first floor of Quadrio allows both journalists and the general public to meet with our 2016 Olympians and to choose clothing and uniforms before the all-important flight to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. "I'm sure that for athletes it will be a great experience. Selecting their very own clothing will be the first public encounter with the Olympic Games and the very first time our athletes can feel the genuine Olympic atmosphere. We wanted to provide a suitable and worthy environment for the Fan Zone and Quadrio shopping centre is the place to be," said Martin Doktor, Head of the Czech delegation to the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The Fan Zone, allows supporters to experience the Olympic athletes, shopping and culture all in one place. Now there will be an exclusive opportunity to purchase products from the official Czech Team merchandise shop. "The Fan Shop opens along with the Fan Zone on May 27, 2016. Sports fans will now know that there is a place where they get the opportunity to see and meet their favourite Olympic athletes at any time. Shopping Centre Quadrio is thus ‘a home away from home‘ to the Czech Olympic team in Prague," adds Marek Tesař. Throughout the year, the Fan Zone has prepared a programme associated with the Olympic Movement and history of the world‘s greatest sporting tournament. Supporting members of the public will be able to attend Olympic autograph sessions, book launches, exhibitions, screenings, etc.
