The multifunctional complex above Narodni trida underground station has a new owner and a new name. The COPA Centrum is now called Quadrio. In mid-February of 2013, investment and development group CPI Group purchased the remaining stake in the COPA Centrum Narodni Project from Swiss businessman Sebastian Pawlowski. They are now the sole owner of this project and immediately renamed the multifunctional complex to Quadrio. CPI Group joined the administrative and shopping project in the summer of 2011 when they purchased a 50% stake in the development company COPA Centrum Narodni, s.r.o. from Interco Holding GmbH and became partners with Pawlowski AG. "From the beginning, we believed in this project and would stand behind its implementation. It remains the best product of its kind in the city centre, which is proven by the interest shown in the commercial space by companies“, commented Zdeněk Havelka, CEO of CPI Group. "We continue to work together with Mr. Pawlowski primarily in the rental of commercial space,“ said Havelka. Construction was started in July 2012. With a new owner, however, came a new name – Quadrio. "We felt the need to give new impetus not only to the construction but also to the project itself, which we had wanted to own for a long time. Tenants can count on a lasting relationship and responsible property management from the owner“, said Havelka. "The new name reflects the shape of the complex and its architecture, as well as the division of its functions. It’s based on an original English play on words, referring to the basic features and benefits of the project“, said the CEO. The development company that provides construction for the Quadrio project has become a subsidiary of the holding company CPI Narodni, s.r.o. It will continue to lead the construction and administrative steps associated with realisation of the complex. Project completion is forecast for the fall of 2014.
